Le Chanvre Hanoi Hotel & Spa

We stayed in a room with a terrace. Very spacious room, clean and very comfortable. The shower, bathtub, bath amenities, everything was well provided. The flowers in the room, fruit and wine service was delightful. The sauna, spa, and pool were always open and very refreshing after a long, sweaty walk through the old town. I wanted to shop daily in the old town, so the location here was perfect. Everything is within walking distance. Breakfast was also a pleasure, and I enjoyed it every day. I would like to mention that the service staff here was excellent. They are always warm and courteous in their welcome and respond instantly to requests. The room cleaning staff did a wonderful job as well. Especially Mia, your hospitality was better than any 5 star hotel. She was very helpful in communicating with us via email after booking, calling us at the airport, and smoothly resolving any issues throughout our stay. Mia made our stay zero stress and we were very impressed! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all your staff. Next time I visit Hanoi, I will definitely stay here again.

From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, generous and professional. At check in we were warmly welcomed with delicious tea in a cool and beautiful lobby. The room was interestingly designed with modern facilities, comfortable bed and relaxing bathroom with bathtub. Breakfast offered a wide selection of tasty western and local dishes. We enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar where we had a panoramic view of the city. The location in the old town is close to shops, restaurants spas and so on. A room higher up and at the back of the hotel will be quietest and offer the best views.

Location was fantastic. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the staff were all very friendly. Service recovery for when things didn't meet expectations were very good as well. I'd totally go back to this hotel again if I go back to Hanoi.

French Indochine interior design this hotel is beautiful in every way possible - from the exquisite spacious rooms to the exemplary service, the spotless bathrooms to the welcoming smiles of the reception and door staff, everyone working at this hotel made us feel special and truly well looked after. Practical points: 1. location is at the heart of the old quarter, sights smells sounds abound, there’s so much to do and see that you won’t need to venture too far. We walked to most places including the West lake area. If going further then a Grab taxi is an easy and cheap way to get around. 2. Get breakfast here! It’s amazing.. a relaxed but fine dining experience. And if you’re pushed for time, the stage will sort out a takeaway, neatly packaged to go! 3. Excursion to Sapa! Car and diver organised by the hotel at competitive rates.

New hotel that opened in Aug 2023, with consistent good service across all areas of the hotel - At the door, Reception, Breakfast dining, Room Cleaning... Well trained customer-focused staff. I shall return to this hotel on my next trip Enjoyed the good variety and quality of food choices at Breakfast - such as Pho, Congee, Eggs cooked to your requirement, Assortment of Cheeses, Make your own Salad, Local Fruits, Nice freshly grounded Vietnamese coffee, Homemade soya bean drink, and some local cooked food dishes that changed everyday. In particular, the staff at the breakfast dining were exceptionally helpful with all aspects of the breakfast - Seating, Helping to bring items to the table, Attentive to requests, and even remembering our preferences from the previous day.
